Hi all! Well, for right now, designing is going to take a little backseat! Have no fear, I have plans in the near future to get some really cute goodies going, but right now, something very pressing is occurring and it's taking up a lot of my time. So... what's so pressing, you ask?! I finally got my OWN WEB SITE! LOL! I know that doesn't sound like much to some of you, but to me, it's a huge deal that I've been wanting to do for a very, very long time now! I received a note from AOL recently, that they are no longer going to be doing their FTP/AOL HOMETOWN- where I happen to have about 5 yrs worth of family related websites/pictures/updates etc etc located. I just about had a heart attack! I've been wanting to take the plunge into purchasing a domain and a hosting package, but I've always put it off. Well, the time has come! About a week or so ago, I went to www.godaddy.com and purchased a domain name and a hosting package, and I am thrilled! At first the idea was scary to me, but I have faith in my ability to create and maintain webpages/sites, so here I am, neck deep into many, many family pictures, updates, and pages that I've got to get transferred from AOL to my brand new web site:
